So, Apple has finally released their first Android app. And I have to give it up to the big A, they really went hard after Google. In a very bold move to it stick to Android, Apple decided that their first Android ap is going to be “Move to iOS“, an app that allows Android users to easily jump ship, and move to iOS by moving most of their data to iOS.

This app shows us that Apple just doesn’t give a F***. Check out the app’s description: “With just a few steps, you can migrate your content automatically and securely from your Android device with the Move to iOS app. No need to save your stuff elsewhere before switching from Android. The Move to iOS app securely transfers all kinds of content for you.” While Google is trying to make useful apps like Google Maps and Gmail on iPhone in hopes that iOS users will switch over because of their apps, Apple is getting straight to the point: getting Android users to switch over!

Who knew that the nerds at Apple had balls???? It’s no wonder why the app is receiving rave reviews from the Android community. Here are only a few of the reviews of the app from actual users on Google Play:

Gave me Cancer BEWARE this app can cause serious health problems. Such as every intelligent person you know punching your face for switching to a useless overpriced product…
Do NOT recommend! As I was downloading this app, the french doors to my verandah burst open in a hailstorm of glass shards and wood splinters. Arnold Schwarzenegger strode in, smacked the phone out of my loose grip and announced that Siri was the precursor to Skynet. As I sat in amazed (and I’ll admit more than a little horrified) silence, he took the keys to my car. I had just taken a title loan out on it for my new Iphone 6! He sped off into the sunset muttering about John Connor. One star..
Wow Runs just like a V8 firing only 3 pistons The night was dark and lonely I felt this horrible urge to hurt myself….So to satisfy that urge I tried this app out and Boy! It did not disappoint. Now,I have 1/4 of my previous phone functions available to me…. The frustration of such a limited fixed phone layout unable to customize it improve its a masochist’s dream… If you enjoy the butthurt… Then this app is for you….
This is a time travel app Ever wish you could go back in time? Well now you can! Experience all the features you have had for years all over again, but this time in slow, drawn out increments. No more pesky options, freedom and customizations to worry about. Enjoy a closed sheltered new world where a “Move to Android” app is not allowed. But thats not all! Buy your iPhone now, and get a lifetime of overpriced proprietary hardware that keeps changing! The first 20 callers will receive a free wall charger (a $400 value).
Dangerous App! I installed this app and my nuts fell off. It was awkward. Then Steve Jobs ghost told me this was normal and payment had to be made. I had apparently agreed to it in the terms of service. He told me it was better this way, and offered to take one of my kiddies for a chance to win a 20% off coupon. I ran but was unable to escape. My phone started flashing like crazy and a crazy laugh reverberated through the room. Steve had drained my bank account and mortgaged my house and now I can afford the iPad Pro.
Tried to use and got sick. I attempted to use this app and instead of data migration, I got Ebola. My cat also started vomiting and talking in tongues and my kids tried to run into traffic. It also have me diabetes. Type 2! Would give two star if glabble abble jarg boo dammkafarratiknon rep ping harpeleglegleglegl zoom wapang!!
So long losers One more week till I ditch this garbage phone and operating system. Can’t even sell this worthless phone that’s been crippled by the last update six months ago that still hasn’t been fixed. Should have never left in the first place. Thanks Apple for such a great app.
Finally… I’ve been wanting to get a more expensive phone but with less features for a while now, and finally I can. No need to make my phone a customized reflection of my personality when I can let apples ugly UI be my first and last thing I see everyday. The best part is with an iPhone I can sell all of my practical multi-purpose micro-USB cables for crappy proprietary Apple cables that cost more but offer no benefit other than enslaving me into a culture of only buying Apple products. Sign me up!
Hypnosis As soon as I installed it everything started spinning. A suadent voice started playing trying to convince me it is normal to pay separately for a proprietary USB cable and the actual power brick. Apple is not late with releasing features and that is just a conspiracy. It is bad for the user to have choices as too much freedom stimulates creativity and that is a bad thing. It went on explaining how an apple Pencil is not a stylus and how Apple didn’t completely go against what they firmly seemed to believe.
Is apple trolling android? “You can recycle this android for free at any apple store” So not only are you guzzling down money from your fan boys, now you don’t even let us sell our phones second hand so we can have some extra cash to pay for your stupidly expensive devices? BAD APPLE! Plus taking advantage of play store’s openess and freedom (mostly) to pull off this troll, which contributes nothing back to actual android users, while you don’t allow android apps on your appstore. You troll android, the community trolls back.
Do not get I would rather rub my grandmothers bunions than move to iOS! Get out of here apple, nobody wants you
Waw So this is Apple’s first Android app and they make one like this? Bet Android would never be able to publish their own “Move to Android” app on Apple’s App Store.
Why is there not an option to give -ve stars! They could have at least followed the Android design patterns. I hope this app gets kicked out of the Play Store soon. #HatedIt
Well this sucks… I tried to switch to ios and this app made my old android explode in my pocket. Needless to say I need a new phone and it won’t be an iPhone now. This is Apple’s fault.
At least try to respect design specs for other OS. Google always do that when they create app for iOS. Shame on YOU !!!
