I have no doubt in my mind that this is the worst rap video of all time. It’s bad enough that the song is awful, but then they go all out to make the worst rap video that I have ever seen. In fact, it might be the worst music video ever made!

Man, this sucks hard. What’s that he’s counting, Monopoly money? And their lip syncing is miserable and they look like they hate their song. Not to mention the really bad After Effects work and the ugly women dancing around them. Just… horrible.
I’m embarrassed for them. Someone help the poor souls.
They’re counting Euros, and since the clip is filmed in France, I’d say they were French (or at least recent immigrants to France). The lyrics are woeful, the music is derivative and out of date and most of the women look like transvestites. But still, this isn’t THE worst rap ever, it’s equal first with EVERY rap out there made in recent years. The urban/rap/r&b world has become bland, conservative and musically bereft. Bring back De La Soul, bring back Young MC, bring back NWA, bring back Run DMC and bring back The Jungle Bothers!

Ahh, Euros. That’s why I didn’t recognize them. But if this was shot in France, it’s the most uninteresting take on that country ever captured on film. I have to agree with you on modern rap, though. It’s all pretty awful these days.
They’re Canadian, the street signs are North American style, and one of them says Quebec.

I love N.W.A. but come on with songs like “gimme that nut” how can you say they were any different than modern rappers

um… 15 years in the music industry inc. 5 in alternative radio specialising in funk, hip-hop, afro-funk and reggae? Anyhooooo. This song is such shite, even nerdy church-going white kids from Utah could’ve done a more authentic rap track – we agree right?
PS: One recent hip-hop act I CAN get behind is Edan – but he’s a white kid. Happy to take your suggestions for other worthy contemporary hip-hop/rap acts.
