This is the coolest iPhone 4G concept that I’ve seen so far on the internet. I love the transparent aspect. But it does look bigger than the current iPhone 3g.

THEY SHOULD DEFINITELY MOVE THIS FROM CONCEPT TO REALITY, THE US NEEDS TO SEE THIS STUFF. EUROPE HAS BEEN OUT WITH PHONES LIKE THESE FOR 10 YEARS.

well i live in europe and iv never seen a phone even remotely resembling this.
id pay through the nose for a design like that.

agreed with jonny! I live in England and have never seen anything like this, it looks awesome. I want one. If anything I think USA are more advanced than us as they had the original Iphone released there before we did! And also ten years ago, I had a Motorola phone which was green with a tiny tiny screen and big hard push buttons with a monster ariel coming out of the top! Oh, and the display was shite. So anyway, when does it come out?

This is a nice concept, but far far far from reality. All of the iphones electrical components (mother board, processor etc) are all within that central area. Also watching videos on this seems unrealistic, the whole thing is unrealistic, its just space age fan art.

Electronic components are found in the centre of the iPhone, but they’ve deleoped transparent intergrated circuits, wiring and even memory. It won’t be long until the whole motherboard is transparent. I’m not sure how they’d go about backlighting though. Also, would the screen’s opacity be changeable?

Yes, they should move this from concept to reality.
Here is a list of other concepts that should be “moved to reality” first:
Flying cars
Antigravity
Faster-than-light travel
Food replicators
An end to hunger
World peace

Just to name a few.
Then, we can worry about transparent circuitry and the resulting transparent iPhone. Surf Wisely.

@ bilbert – the entire LG crystal is not transparent. the two concepts are not the same @ all – the LG clear “technology” has been around & in use forever.

it cant work, how can you get a touch screen interface see through and also have such a tiny battery to last long enough for atleast a day. how do the colours come through. im pretty sure that it would of been out long ago.
