From what I understand, this song has been around for awhile, but was safely ignored for years. But, like Nelly Furtado would say, all good things come to an end. This turkey is receiving astonishingly favorable radio/video play. Truly, this song reeks of awfulness. 3:39 of snot. Enjoy.

omg this song is so stupid it is retarted and sounds like crap!!!! get a life!!!!!!!!
this song is showing what could happen when you choose the wrong path. In this song, each one of them went separate ways. The 1st one went to the right(dove) and the other in the suit went left(C:communist). Both is bragging about their “places”. One of them goes too far out of control and ends up killing his best friend.
Im really new to posting comments online but… i think this song is great! its not the usually britney spears crap, but it sends a thoughtful message to teenagers today. its a political message, but also a individual message that we can control our lives or not by ‘letting go of the handlebars’ and as for ‘getting a life’ like someone else posted earlier about this song…. well how bout you get a brain and start thinking about things around you, you don’t have to like the song, but you do have to respect the message cuz everyone has a right to interpret the world as they like. so yeah i think this song has value
that song handlebars is extremely stupid like why the hell do u wanna sing about what u can do its so stupid i dont understand people love it it may also be funny to some its funny to me well i give this song a negative 9 out of 10
Flobots are a bunch of self-righteous tools who think they’re intellectuals. Fuck these losers!!!
Their songs are symbolic and meaningful, period. You can agree with them or disagree, but you can’t discount the literary value of their lyricism. That’s like saying that Shakespeare’s works are “stupid”, you’re either sixteen, or uneducated.
Fail troll fails at trolling. They’re actually quite good.
I appreciate the symbolism of the lyrics, but they don’t flow very well. It would be better as free-verse poetry in my opinion.
