Tila Tequila (AKA Tila Nguyen) has had a busy career. She spent a short time in gentleman’s magazines before moving on to YouTube fame with her classic, and vaguely disturbing, tune I Love You. To be honest, I’ve heard other songs from that time period (F*** Ya Man seems to come to mind) but I always figured she wouldn’t bother releasing anymore music. Always looking for new performance techniques, she recently hosted a reality tv show called A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila (in which she surprises her suitors by admitting that she plays for both teams). I have to admit that I watched every episode; no small feat since it only played a 1:00AM on Saturdays. If you didn’t see the show, it was sort of like watching a train wreck in slow motion. Very compelling. And now she’s releasing a new single? After watching the reality series, this is exactly the sort of song I could imagine her writing. But it seems that Stripper Friends was written by A. Allen in 2001. Anyway, the video is entertaining. As always.
