Cold’s suck. So most of us would do almost anything to get over the headache, stuffy nose, sore throat, sneezing and coughing. Traditional theory says there’s really no sure cure for the common cold (although there’s all sorts of products containing stuff like echinacea, zinc, ginseng, etc. that offer hopeful promises). Now I’ve heard that sales of neti potshave sky-rocketed since this approach was suggested on Oprah. In all fairness, it seems that neti pots have been used, something like forever, in India. They clean out the nasal passage and this is supposed to help. But it looks a little intense.

I just got a Neti Pot and so far it’s working like a charm! I prefer this over nasal sprays any day.
When you use it, it feels like when you’re in a pool and some water gets up your nose.
Btw, they do sell inexpensive plastic neti pots, too. That’s what I got. I don’t know why they’re selling these expensive ceramic ones. That’s bullshit.
The Neti Pot is simple and effective. I love it! (=
The only annoying thing about the neti pot is that my nose drips a few very watery drops every now and then :S
