Woooohoooo!!!

So, everybody expected my Eagles to get shredded by the Patriots. People expected to see little pieces of Eagles splattered all over the field. Instead, my Eagles decided to play football! They played their hearts out and they made me glad to be an Eagles fan! My Eagles lost, but so what! They played an outstanding game against the team that will be the SuperBowl champions.

Even though they lost the game, they played like the Philadelphia Eagles team that I?ve been waiting to see all season long. They were aggressive on offense and defense. They shut down Randy Moss and made the Patriots work for everything that they got. Because they played so well, the Philadelphia Eagles are no longer the Suckiest Team of the 2007-2008 NFL season. I?ll leave that special title for the Miami Dolphins. 0 and 16, baby!!

In all fairness, even I did not expect the Eagles to play as well as they did yesterday. They?ve been so inconsistent all season long. If they had played the way that they did yesterday all season long, yesterday?s game would have been their first loss of the season.
